Manuscripts must not have been previously published in other journals and should not be under review by other journals.
Manuscripts must be typed with single spacing, in a one-column format, on A4 paper, using Times New Roman font size 12 pt. Interested authors need to register with the journal before submitting their article. Once registered, they can log in and start the five-step process. Manuscript Articles Must Meet the Following Conditions:
- Title: Use no more than 15 words to describe the main issue of the article, written in either Indonesian or English with capitalized format in Times New Roman size 16 pt.
- Author Information: Under the title, list the author's name, institutional affiliation, email address, and corresponding author.
- Abstract: Write the abstract in one paragraph consisting of 100-250 words in both English and Indonesian with Times New Roman size 11.
- Keywords: Use around 3 to 5 words representing the main concepts of the research with Times New Roman size 11.
Manuscript Structure:
- Introduction: The introduction should be concise and detailed, covering at least five elements that specifically address research challenges at both international and national levels. Ensure sources are relevant to the subject and avoid presenting information without clear sources. Examine how researchers respond to the issue, seek expert perspectives, and explore the relationship between previous research and the issue raised. Identify differences between current and prior research. Previous research results should be relevant to the research problem, with unique aspects or gaps supported by relevant theory and primary sources. The focus of the study should be clearly defined, and researchers should descriptively articulate the research objectives or challenges in the final paragraph without using bullet points or numbers.
- Theoretical Framework: The theoretical framework in a scientific journal article is the conceptual framework used to underpin the research, linking the study to previous studies, and providing relevant theoretical justification for the research problem.
- Research Methodology: Provide sufficient detail to enable others to reproduce and expand upon the findings presented. This section should include research strategy, rationale, process, population, sample, research tools, data collection methods, and data analysis methods, written in the past tense.
- Results: Present results clearly and comprehensively. Research findings should address specific problem formulations or use other relevant approaches to highlight results. Research conclusions should be supported by empirical evidence, and subheadings may be used to organize this section. Provide a brief and accurate summary of experimental findings, analysis, and conclusions.
- Discussion: Analyze previous research results and working hypotheses without repeating the explanation from the results section. Discuss findings and their implications in a comprehensive context, including potential areas for future research. Compare current research results with previous research to determine if they align or conflict, and discuss the originality of the findings.
- Conclusion: Explain solutions to the research problems or questions posed. Avoid repeating explanations from previous sections. Summarize the article material related to the research problems or questions and clearly highlight the significance and limitations of the research. Write this section descriptively without using numbers or bullet points.
- Acknowledgements: If the manuscript is the result of research sponsored by a specific party, include a statement with information about the funding sponsor and acknowledgments to the sponsor.
- References: Use bibliographic software such as Mendeley, EndNote, ReferenceManager, or Zotero to avoid typing errors and reference duplication. Include the digital object identifier (DOI) for all references if possible. Arrange reference list entries alphabetically by the author's last name. All citations must be included in the main text of the article and vice versa. Sources mentioned in the article must be included in the reference list. A minimum of 20 references is required, with at least 80% from journal papers and the rest from other sources. References should be current within the last five years, except for essential foundational theories. Include all references used in the Open Journal System (OJS) of the Jurnal Elemen when submitting the paper. Write references and citations according to the APA Style Guide, 7th edition.
